Client Discounts Available

 

Active Military Service Members and Veterans are eligible for a discounted rate. Active duty service family members can also receive a discount on all services.
 

Individual Financial Hardship Discount

 

If you are unable to pay our full fee. We may be able to lower our fees depending on our availability and your current financial hardship circumstances. In these cases we use what is called a slidding fee scale to determine an appropriate fee. If you are hoping to receive a reduced fee it will be necessary for you to bring proof of your income and monthly expenses to your initial session.

 

Our Insurance Policies

 

We do not work directly with any insurance companies but we are able to provide receipts for out-of-network benefit reimbursements.  Please call your insurance company to find out if they are able to provide you with this service. However, using health insurance for mental health services may have particular drawbacks that you should be aware of before starting. Managed care organizations and insurance companies can require detailed information about a client's history as a condition of payment.  This may extend to requesting information regarding progress and results of your treatment. Additionally, Insurance companies can enforce a time restriction on the length of your treatment, regardless of your actual progress in therapy.  Fort Lauderdale Behavior Therapy views such requirements as a serious breach of the private and confidential relationship between the client and therapist, and these restrictions will limit us from preforming and offering the best service possible to all our clients.

Cash, Check, and Major Credit Cards are all accepted as forms of payment.

 

Cancellation Policy

 

If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment time or have not reschedual your weekly session with 24 hour notice for another available appointment time during the same week of your missed session, you will be expected to pay for the missed therapy session time.
